We’ve got answers (and maybe even a few high-fives along the way). Dive into our FAQ to clear up the little mysteries — and if you’re still scratching your head, we’re just a click away.
We support people from age 14 upwards – including those preparing for their first part-time job while still at school. Even though “Youth” is in our name, no age is a barrier. If you’re motivated to work and have NDIS funding for employment supports, we welcome you to book a free on-line Discovery Chat.
Every person’s employment journey is unique. Some need help starting from the basics; others already have certain skills and just need support in a few areas. We’ll meet you where you’re at, focus on your goals, and tailor each session to what works best for you.
For school leavers, we usually recommend 4 hours per week (a half-day session). For others, session length depends on your NDIS funding and goals, but we suggest a minimum of 2 hours per week to see real progress.
Both! We can support anyone in Australia with an NDIS plan via remote sessions (online). We also offer in-person sessions across Sydney Metro and the Central Coast.
The primary NDIS category is Capacity Building – Finding and Keeping a Job. If that isn’t already funded, fees can be drawn from:
• Capacity Building – Increased Social & Community Participation
• CORE – Assistance with Social & Community Participation
We’ll work with you to identify the best funding pathway.
Not at this stage. YEAA supports Plan Managed and Self-Managed NDIS plans only. Check your NDIS plan to confirm which option you have.
